Privacy

Analytics is optional and only starts if you accept analytics cookies.

Visit measurement

If Google Analytics is enabled and you allow it, we measure pages visited, traffic sources, approximate location, device, engagement time and actions such as playing a preview or opening Spotify and Apple Music. Listening does not require your GPS location, name or email.

Analytics excludes personalized ads and Google Signals. Page addresses are sent without query parameters or fragments; external referrers are limited to their domain. Measurement data is processed by Google Analytics. Google privacy policy ↗

Your choice

You can accept or reject analytics and change your choice in the footer. Your preference is saved in this browser for six months. Rejecting it does not prevent you from listening. Withdrawing consent stops measurement and removes Analytics cookies accessible from this domain; it does not delete data already sent to Google.

Hype votes

When you open the selection, we use a voting cookie and a protected fingerprint of your IP address to limit repeat votes. We save votes to show the total for each track.

Music and external services

When you play a preview, your browser requests audio from Apple. Links to Spotify, Apple Music and social networks open services with their own policies. YouTube or SoundCloud players, when available, may communicate with those services.

Stories and site operation

To share a story, the site loads a prepared video and lets you choose the destination app. It does not post automatically to social networks. The hosting provider may process technical request data to deliver and protect the site.
